Wardrobe Closet

A wardrobe closet is one of the most important and the most difficult places in the entire household. This is where you put all your clothing but if you do not organize it properly then you will have to scramble through your entire collection to find the right combination of clothing. Sometimes it even happens that you select clothing and after wearing, you realize that the selected items do not go with each other. 

However, a wardrobe closet is a recent discovery, as the people in older days did not have need for a closet or wardrobes closets. They main reason was that there were taxes applied on the closet as well since they were considered as a separate room instead of as part of the room. When the “closet tax” was repealed, the families were still not very interested in getting one. This was because they did not have enough clothing to require a proper closet for them.

They mostly used chest, pegs or armoires for the purpose rather then opting for closets. Late 19th century experienced the industrial revolution, which resulted in production of cheaper and inexpensive clothing for the masses. This resulted in the closet clutter that we experience even today and the reach-in closets of that time started to become a problem. The 1950’s saw the introduction of walk-in closets that we see in our homes even today. The walk-in closets are not only a place to store clothing or a dressing room; it has taken the shape of proper room with separate areas for his and her, tables, sofas, TV, spas and much more.

If you have a wardrobe closet then you know that the most time consuming act is going through your entire clothing, finding the right matching, get the dirty items washed, dry-cleaned and ironed, and then putting all the items in the wardrobe in the proper order. After sometime the whole process becomes frustrating, you simply cannot bring yourself to change outfits after outfits to finally find the right combination and getting late for your appointment during the process.

Therefore, you must discover a way to simplify the process. You will need to find some free time out of your busy schedule to do so. The first thing you must do is match the clothing properly and hang them in your closet. When you are free of this tiresome task you will realize that there are some clothes in your closet that do not have an acceptable matching or you do not use them much but also cannot bring yourself to through them away. Then first thing you should do about these is pack all the extras items away in boxes. Now lets turn to the items with which you can’t find proper matching, there are thousands of stores in market that are offering discounts around the year, take your items there and you are bound to find something without putting burden on your pocket as well.

In short, wardrobes are one of the most important parts of any household. If you do not manage it properly, you will find yourself in a tight spot when the time comes for selecting items for a special occasion or when you are in a hurry.
